Oliver Johnson Robillard

ROBILLARD: Oliver Johnson. It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of my father Oliver Johnson Robillard, born October 19th, 1932 and died October 4th, 2013. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his care home, Pat and I were by his side to see him through his difficult time. He was a fighter but diabetes and dementia finally won. My father was in the Navy and he walked iron, he also drove truck. His passion was his horses and his shoes. He was a very generous man and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. His first wife Shirley remarried Chris Hilderbrand and they always remained good friends to my father. He will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Denise and longtime friend Pat, also his grandsons Jesse, Lee and Ashley; great grandsons Chase, Hans and great granddaughter Kamea. Predeceased by his beautiful daughter Rhonda, brothers Alec and Louie and sister Girly. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Services will be held from the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave on Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Viewing will be held prior to the service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in memory of Mr. Robillard.
