MAXIMCHUK, Peter John. July 5, 1945 - November 2, 2014. It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family of Peter Maximchuk announces his passing. Forever remembered and survived by his loving wife Ann of 48 years, 7 children & 14 grandchildren. Connie & Dean Schmode - Bryce, Addison, Alyssa & Cariss; Michael & Kim Maximchuk - Derek & Amy; Melissa & Richard Dechaine - Zachary, Mackenzie & Joshua; Marcella & Todd Anderson - Brittany & Kyle; Natasha & Reg Pfleging - Madison, Brett & Brayden; Orysha & Trevor Bithrey; Christopher & Katrina Maximchuk. 3 sisters Jessie Hryciw, Mary Adamoski, & Elizabeth Witham. He was predeceased by his parents Pantelemon & Katherine Maximchuk and his Mom and Dad John & Nancy Horon, brother Harry Maximchuk and sister Nadie Frankiw. Peter taught with the Edmonton Catholic School Board for 35 years and then enjoyed his retirement in Kelowna, BC. Peter loved traveling with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at 10:30 AM from the Dormition of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church,1091 Coronation Ave, Kelowna . A Divine Liturgy Monday November 10 at 10:30am at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 - 153 Ave, Reverend Father Janko Herbut officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
