

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Connie of Kelowna, BC; Joyce (Cliff) of Kelowna, BC; Don (Jeannette) of Airdrie, AB; Diane of Salmon Arm, BC and two grandsons; Ryan of Medicine Hat, AB and Dominion of Kelowna, BC. She is also survived by two sisters; Annie of Langley, BC and Olga (Mike) of Hamilton, ON. and many nieces and nephews.
Teresa was predeceased by her parents Maxim and Mary Koziski of Ituna, SK. and siblings, Adeline, Rose, Stan (infant), Mary, Mike, Stan, Julia, John, Nestor, Joseph and Peter.
Teresa was born in Ituna, SK. on December 4, 1934 into a big family with loving parents, and was the youngest of fourteen children. She had a wonderful childhood growing up on the farm and in a musical family.
Teresa loved music and formed a band with three other siblings that played at local weddings and dances. Teresa was an excellent cook (well known for her incredible perogies and bread), loved baking sweets, and was an avid gardener. During her life Teresa volunteered in her local church. Teresa loved to sing and was part of the Sweet Adelines Chorus in Kelowna for many years. She worked in housekeeping in Yorkton Union Hospital for thirteen years and in Kelowna General Hospital, retiring after twenty years of service.
Teresa will be fondly remembered for her feisty character, quick wit and zest for life, and her unrelenting concern and love for her family.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Rd. N., Kelowna on Friday August 29th, 2025 at 11:00 am.
