With great sadness, we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and very good friend, Verna Bartlett on September 28, 2011 at Kelowna General Hospital, in her 80th year.
Verna is survived by her husband of over 41 years Ray; children Stuart (Tina), Gord (Debbie), Joanne (Albert) Van Ee, Dan, Nancy (John) Hewer, Susan (Dirk) Kraetzer; daughter-in-law Jan Bartlett; 15 grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was sadly predeceased by her son Dave; and granddaughter Jillian.
Verna enjoyed being with people and really enjoyed a good laugh. She loved her family, camping, quilting and dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday October 1, 2011 from the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC.
