In loving memory of Victor (Vic) C Rood who passed away February 25, 2019 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 94 years. Vic was born in Saskatchewan on his father’s farm in 1924. He took over the farm from his dad where he and his wife Ann raised three sons, until moving to Oyama, BC in 1976.
He worked at various jobs until buying Ray’s Parcel Express which he and his wife ran for a few years.
Vic is survived by his wife of 71 years Ann (Braun) and three sons, Terrol (Joni Black), Joe and Tom and also grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great- great grandson.
A Celebration of Vic’s life will be held on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Home. 1211 Sutherland Ave Kelowna, BC.
