Anita Smith

Anita Smith was born on May 2, 1935 in Linden, TX to parents Willie D. and Exar (Shaddix) Floyd and entered into eternal rest in Garland, TX on July 1, 2015 at the age of 80. Anita was formerly from the Ruth Springs area of Trinidad, TX. Since Anita retired she loved to fish, garden and had a passion for playing bingo in Seven Points. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry W. Smith, one sister Dorothy Reese and a brother Doil Floyd. She is survived by her only child Larry Smith and his wife Cindy of Garland, TX., grandchildren: James J. & Christina Smith, Jason C. & Kristal Smith, Aaron & Heather Rosenbaum and Miranda & Jared Lankford, seven great-grandchildren Riley, Hudson, Emerson, Levi, Kamden, Zayne and Alexander, sister Delta Hamilton of Linden, TX, sister-in-law Doris Johnson of Irving, brother-in-law Freddie Wright of Mc Kinney, TX., numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A private celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date.
