Mrs. Barbara Jean Sherbert "Granny"

Barbara was born on June 26, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to parents Charles Edward and Vera Mae (Bowers) Cloninger and entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2014 at the age of 75. Barbara was employed with Frito Lay Corporation of Dallas for over 10 years and retired from The Kemp ISD after 18 years of service. She was an active member of the Riverside Mission Church in Grand Saline. Barbara was a very loving and caring soul, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, son James Lewis Sherbert Jr., sisters; Vera Nell Dyer and Virginia Mae Simmons and brother Charles Argil Cloninger.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years; James Lewis Sherbert Sr. of Kemp, daughter Rhonda Kay Sherbert Hazelip of Kemp, son Edward Glen Sherbert of Dallas, sister Ellen Cate of Howe, grandchildren; Kevin and Shannon Hazelip of Crossroads, Tommy and Christie Miller of Kemp, James and Melissa Sherbert III of Kemp and Scotty and Mandy Mace of Marion, NC, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
