Cotton Shelton

Cotton was born November 14, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to parents J.B. and Paulina Pearl (Massey) Shelton and entered into eternal rest on June 28, 2017 at the age of 78. Cotton was a chicken man at Timberline Hatchery and he attended church at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Cotton was a loving, caring man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cotton was preceded in death by his parents, son Allen Ray Shelton, daughter-in-law Betty Shelton, brothers; James Shelton and Herman Shelton.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Shelton of Kemp, children: Tina Maddox of Payne Springs, William Charles Shelton and Cherie of Kemp, Cody Wayne Shelton and Janet of Kemp, James Russell Shelton of Kemp, Brian Keith Shelton and Jeannena of North Carolina, Debra Zepeda and John, Daniel Glen Chandler, Rick Chandler and Dixie, Mark Chandler and Ruth, Robin Hayes of Richland Hills, 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister Dorothy Jean Brentlinger and husband Al of Desoto, numerous other family members, and many more friends.
