Dennis Spakes was born July 7, 1948 in Warren Arkansas to parents Richard Eugene Spakes and Retha Sue (Weeks) Spakes and entered eternal rest on August 17, 2019 at the age of 71. Dennis was a thoughtful and generous man who always had a smile on his face, something silly to say and carried chewing gum in his pocket. (He was known as the uncle who always had the gum.) He enjoyed the outdoors and the birds including his own cockatoo named Buddy. He enjoyed sports like the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers and loved Elvis Presley and John Wayne movies. Dennis was Baptist by Faith and attended Spring Creek Independent Baptist Church. He truly loved the Lord and going to church. The Lord was his number One. He was a remarkable man that will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.
Dennis is preceded in death by; his father Richard Spakes, sister Brenda Carol Earnheart and brother-in-law Roger Baker.
He is survived by his; mother Sue Spakes of Kemp, Brothers; Steve Spakes and Marlin Spakes of Kemp, sister Debbie Baker of Eustace, numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and many more friends.
