Mrs. Patsy Jo Smith Starr

Patsy Jo Starr, was born on May 13, 1955 in Farmersville, TX to parents Leland and Etta Jo (Hockett) Smith and entered into eternal rest on July 22, 2014 at the age of 59. Patsy was known as “Memaw” by her grandchildren. She loved her grandbabies and was strong in her faith. Patsy enjoyed going to church, cooking, shopping and bottle feeding animals. She loved watching her soap operas and Elvis movies. Patsy graduated from Garland High School. She was a Baptist by faith. Patsy was a member of The First Baptist Church of Seven Points, where she enjoyed singing and cooking with her church family. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

Patsy was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband Clifford Starr of Peeltown, son Jason Keith Starr of Peeltown, daughter Crystal Starr of Peeltown, grandchildren; Kaylea Starr and Kandice Starr of Peeltown, mother Etta Jo Smith of Garland, brother Billy Smith and wife Carol of Arlington, sister Linda McLeroy and husband Jerry of Garland, her special dogs Pooh and Snuggles, other loving family members and many more friends.
