Mr. Scott Jay Braswell

Scott Jay Braswell, 51, of Lively, TX passed away July 9th, 2015. Scott was born December 30th, 1963 and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1982. Scott worked as an auto body repair tech. He was described as being one of the best in the business. Scott was always the man to call to get the job done. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and all other outdoor activities. Scott also had a passion for game fowl, he always said it was in his blood! Scott was preceded in death by his Mother, Vivian Inez Braswell, his three brothers, Jimmy, Billy Ray and Bobby Gene Braswell, his grandparents, Elzie and Orbryrhea Braswell, and Wylie and Verty Shockley. He is survived by his Father, Herbert Braswell of Lively, TX, Sister Betty and her husband Billy Foshee of Lively, TX, Daughter, Holly Grantham of Kaufman, TX, Son, Scotty Braswell of Lively, TX, Son, Bobby Braswell of Kaufman, TX, Granddaughter, Jenny Grantham of Kaufman, TX, Nephews Craig and Zachary Foshee of Lively, TX, Niece Cristy and her husband Boone Richburg of Combine, TX, Nephew, Justin and his wife Jamie Allen and three children of Lively, TX and many other loving family members. Scott’s life will be honored on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 in Kemp, TX at the Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Please join us to celebrate his life!.
