Bill was born on February 11, 1946 in Dallas County to parents Gene Lewis Cody and Frances Jean Hart and entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2016 at the age of 70. Bill was a big fisherman, loved raising animals; especially rabbits. He loved to work with his hands. Bill was an action movie buff and loved hanging out at the VFW in Seven Points. He was a Cpl. in the United States Marines; where he served in Vietnam. Bill retired from the City of Dallas Maintenance Dept. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and son William James Matthew Cody.
He is survived by his loving wife Vickie Sue Cody of Kemp, son William David Cody and wife Deborah of Athens, step-daughters; Diana Russell of WI, and Selena Mayhugh of TX, step-son Jason Mayhugh of WI, numerous grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
