To Anne's family and friends -- I, too, am an old classmate of Anne's from high school days at New Trier West and I agree that the picture of her in the overalls and smiling is the way I have always remembered her.  Smiling and caring.  My deepest condolences on her passing.  I haven't seen her in many years but from the outpouring on this guest book it us obvious that she had stayed that person I knew long ago and that she was loved by so many.............

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I cared for your mother and will always have fond memories of her.

I knew Anne in high school, at New Trier West.  She was my first crush freshman year, and we were high school sweethearts. She had a beautiful spirit, kind heart, and always ever so playful. That photograph of her in the over-all's exactly how I remember her. Used to drive all the boys crazy,  With my deepest condolences to the family, I feel so blessed to have known Anne, if for only one brief shining moment.

Melissa and Meghan your mom was a wonderful person who everyone loved.  We had some great times at Family Tree. Yoand at Cantilian school, wish we could of stayed in touch. Miss u girls and your mom will be missed.

Meghan, I am so very sorry to hear about your mom.  Anne was one of the most gentle, kind and loving people I have ever met.  I'll never forget how much of herself she gave to the children at the Cantalician Center who were lucky enough to have her for a teacher...they all loved her so. I truly believe she is an angel now and free of all suffering. You  are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Deepest love and sympathy to Meghan, Melissa, Eric, John, Lissa and to the rest of the family of Anne. I worked with Anne for years at the Cantalician center. I don't think I've ever met such a beautiful person who always appeared happy, even when she wasn't she was always smiling and making jokes. Anne never let life's trials get her down and she was a great inspiration for anyone that ever had the honor of knowing her.I know that in her new life she is still smiling on all of us and will continue to help others from above and forever be a blessing in our hearts!!

Dear Meghan, Melissa and Eric, and John and Lissa,
My deepest sympathy to you and your families. Annie was a very special person and a very dear friend to me. What a truly kind and giving person she was. Always there to help those who needed it most. While we may have lived in different states and didn't get to see each other as often as I would have liked, she was always in my heart and I will miss her. Her kids  and brothers and sisters meant the world to her and I know how difficult this loss must be for you. Please know how blessed you were to have her as your mother and sister. Anne Rush was full of love, laughter, and joy.  Whenever you spent time with her, she had you laughing and smiling tons.  She was the beach goddess.  She was in her glory when she bathed in the sun's rays and strolled through the sand along the water's shore line.  She also had a patient and loving heart and was devoted to working for many years at the Cantalician Center for Learning.  She would spoil the students with treats and enrich their lives through with her  love, inspirational teaching and kind heart.  Anne Rush is a memory that will live in our hearts forever.
