Katheryn M. DeYoung

Of East Amherst, NY entered into rest January 9, 2025, age 91. Beloved wife of the late Richard K. DeYoung. Loving mother of Pamela K. (the late John) Conroy and Cynthia A. (David) Carlino. Adored grandmother of Amanda Kay, Danielle (Ernest), Dominic, Devin and Charles (Elizabeth). Cherished great grandmother of Iriana, Harlee, Harper and Asara. Daughter of the late Florence and Howard White. Sister of Harry (the late Joan), Gary (Janet), Dianne (Paul) Camp and the late Kenneth, William and Howard White. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Katheryn was a devoted homemaker for much of her life, later retiring from Delaware Printing, where she made many cherished friendships. An avid gardener, she found joy in growing flowers and vegetables. Her love for cooking and baking filled countless hearts and homes with warmth, while her competitive spirit shined during spirited games of pinochle played with those she loved most. Her legacy of love, laughter, and hospitality will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may call on Monday January 13 from 3-8pm at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 3070 Delaware Ave. Kenmore, NY 14217, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday January 14 at 10am.
