

Devoted daughter of the late Allen and Phyllis Fuller, beloved mother of Marissa Coheley, Marc (Amy) Vitagliano, and Michael (Maria) Vitagliano, adored Nana of Cameron Vitagliano, Caden Vitagliano, Gabriel Coheley, Grace Coheley, and Gianna Coheley, caring sister of Kenneth (Nancy) Fuller, Christine Thomas, the late Rebecca (Domingo) Afroilan, Marilou (Eddie) Colunga, the late Timothy Fuller, and Sandra Rimbeck, and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Buffalo; she spent her career in education as an English teacher and principal in the Buffalo Public Schools. Kathy, a lifelong music lover and singer, was a dedicated member of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus for over 50 years, including winning a Grammy Award in 2021 for Best Choral Performance. Kathy was also a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church Choir. Kathy lived her life with generosity, caring, and unconditional love that knew no bounds. She responded with an enthusiastic “Yes!” to requests for her time and talents both big and small, leading poetry workshops and editing newsletters, as well as, sewing hems and making pies. The warmth of her hugs and spirit will be forever felt by her family and many friends.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday May 27, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 pm at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore. A funeral service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 724 Delaware Ave., Buffalo on Thursday May 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Please assemble at church.
