Nobody Disected movies we loved like we did!  Nobody laughed at the same old stuff over and over and over again like we did.  Nobody told the same old stories and cherished them like we did.  Nobody could ever listen to me like you did.  

From the Life to the Light from the Dark of the Night to the Dawn, You are so in my Heart You are Here you could never be gone!  Though the singer is silent There still is the Truth to the Song, in this Song!

Liz, I am so sorry for loss.  May God be you and your family in this time of sorrow,

Aunt Jean is one of my Godmothers, I am one of the few who has 2 Godmothers, which has always been very special to me. Now that I am a Godfather to my niece Norah who has 2 Godfathers it is even more special. I have never met anyone so eager and ready to laugh and be with family. Aunt Jean has the kind of laugh that invites every one into it, it is rich and full, and full of life. It was as if all of Jean was coming out in her laugh. One of the best memories of Aunt Jean that I have was the Christmas we all went to the fair grounds to see a Christmas Light display. I rode in Aunt Becky's car with Uncle Joe and Aunt Jean in the back seat. We were all of us having fun, taking and remembering and also trying to determine what some of the light displays were. As we made our next turn from the back seat in a deep full voice Aunt Jean Exclaimed "I AM A BOW".......there in front of us made out of lights was an enormous, in your face, over the top so big you could not miss it, easily recognizable Christmas Bow. It was stating the obvious, and Aunt Jean's narration was so unnecessary, but it was like this giant bow was shouting at us "I AM A BOW!" it was so funny we all laughed hard and loud. Aunt Becky commented of Jean, "there is uncle Johnny's laugh." I never knew Uncle Johnny, but it really cool to think that a part of him was with us that night. That Aunt Jean has Uncle Johnny's laugh. I think I will miss that most of all.

I can still hear her laugh echoing in my ears, and i can still see her hunched over laughing till she cried. That is how i will always remember her. Laughing and the life of the party!

One of my first memories of having a friend was with Jean. We had lots of laughs through the years. I’ll always smile when I think of her.

Memories as if from a dream
Your ethereal flight so fragile it seemed
Yet constant and caring Heaven watched close by
While your winged path etched a mosaic in the sky
And Beauty triumphed before our eyes.

My oldest friend...I will truly miss you. We have shared so many memories that will never be forgotten. Though our lives went in different directions, not a July went by that I didn't think of you blowing out your candles. Rest in peace knowing you fought the good fight and can now claim the prize. God makes all things new, Dear Heart. You have finally left pain and sorrow behind. It is so hard to accept your leaving us. There is a hole in our family now.
