Alice Drake, age 81, of Canton, died Sunday, September 13, 2015. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 17, 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3459 East Cherokee Drive, Canton, GA 30115. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Georgia Chapter at 2302 Parklake Drive NE ste 210 Atlanta, GA 30345 or ccf.org, in memory of Alice Drake.
Mrs. Drake is survived by her daughter – Joye Lynne (Zane) Leake of Canton, sons – William Barry (Andrea) Drake of Kennesaw, and Landon Corey (Holly) Drake of Marietta, brother – Griff Carithers of Center, GA, and her sisters – Barbara Mace of Bogart and Sue Ellen Summerville of Foley, AL. There are also eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren that survive. Alice was preceded in death by her husband LC Drake and granddaughter Greyce Leake.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Wednesday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
