

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss we announce the passing of Andrew Roger Dodgen, beloved son, brother, and cherished friend. Andrew passed away after a long term illness on March 26, 2026.
Born on June 7, 1973, to Virginia and Roger Dodgen. Andrew is survived by his mother and stepfather Ginger and Tim English, his sister Jennifer Eklund and her husband Erik. He is also survived by nephew Noah Eklund and niece, Rachel Eklund and extended family who loved him.
Andrew attended Lyndon State College. His journey through life was marked by service in the United States Marine Corps where he served as a non-commissioned officer. Andrew was medically discharged as a Sergeant. He carried the values and discipline of the Corps throughout his life.
As an avid skier from a young age, Andrew's passion for the slopes took him down the majestic slopes of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Jersey, and Vermont. Those who skied alongside him remember his infectious enthusiasm, fearlessness, and the joy he found in the crisp mountain air.
Beyond his remarkable adventures, Andrew was known for his generous nature and quick wit. His sense of humor heightened the lives of those around him, bringing smiles and laughter even in the most challenging times.
Andrew's legacy is of kindness, resilience and an indomitable spirit. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to know him.
A visitation for Andrew will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 from 11am to 12pm and will be followed by a Celebration of Life service from 12pm to 1pm. All services will take place at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause close to Andrew's heart.
