In 1992, she met Billy Beaver and on February 14, 1993 they married. They spent the next 26 years together before her passing. In life, Barbara worked as a director of human resources for HCA before retiring.
Barbara was an avid reader of fantasy, mystery and romance novels and she had a love for animals. She occasionally would donate to the Cobb County Humane Society and also rescued animals. She loved her cats however, her adoption of their dog, Lucky, held a special place in her heart.
Barbara enjoyed learning about Egyptians and this included frequenting museums and watching documentaries. She enjoyed decorating and keeping her house to a woman’s touch.
Barbara was a very intelligent, organized, ambitious woman, but above all she was very strong, not only in her personality, but in her heart.
A funeral service to honor Barbara Beaver will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, at one o'clock in the afternoon. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, January 27, 2019 between the hours of four and seven in the evening and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Reverend Jim Lindskoog will be officiating.
