Boyce Clark “Jack” Lankester, age 79, of Acworth, GA, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. A funeral service for Jack will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Lankester was in the military for over 22 years and Master Sergeant retired. He then became a Master Plumber for Depree Plumbing Company. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and spending time with his family. Jack, a bold witness for Jesus, was a member of New Hope Baptist church. Mr. Lankester will always be remembered as a likeable man who never met a stranger, a devoted father, and a loving husband.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Berdie and Earnest Lankester; and son Stephen Michael Lankester. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sherry Lankester; Son Charlton Curt Lankester; Daughter Miriam Green; Sister Martha Ragdale; grandchildren Shea Pierce, April Johnsen, Cory Johnsen, and Jaiden Lank; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral home on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
