He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from AT&T/Bell South with 34 years of service.
Survived by his wife, Jill A. Carmichael; children Kristy and Michael Hadaway, Gary Carmichael; sister, Betty Jo Dempsey; brother, William “Bill” Carmichael; 2 granddaughters, Chelsea and Katelyn Hadaway; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 2 until 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
