David had currently retired from Lockheed in Marietta and was active supported of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Local 709.He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta and loved mission work. David used his Electrical skills, and his passion to help others, with Builders for Christ who assisted those in need. David was a friend to all and a giver to many.
David is survived by his brother Eugene E. Heard, III, his brother Steven M Heard, his sister May T. Rick and his sister Janet E. Dennis; his life long friends Kathy and Doug Bollin.
