Dewey Thomas Lolley, a beloved, brave, and cherished individual, passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 98. Dewey was a resident of Kennesaw, Georgia, and his life was marked by compassion, devotion, faithfulness, humor, patience, and selflessness.
Born on March 26, 1927, in Hackleburg, Alabama, Dewey served his country as a World War II Veteran, demonstrating his bravery and commitment. In his personal life, Dewey was passionate about sharing his love for the Lord and spent almost 70 years preaching. He found joy in fishing, the outdoors, and playing board and card games. He enjoyed any activity that reflected his humorous and patient nature.
Dewey was married to his devoted wife, Nadean Cantrell Lolley, for 76 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they built an ever-growing family that is a testament to his legacy.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Nadean Lolley, and two daughters, Brenda Dial (Darell) and Debbie Goodrich (Michael); son-in-law, Keith Robinson; and daughter-in-law, Velva Lolley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel Lolley (Candace), Jason Dial, Heather Hardy (Matt), Kalin Dial, Dusty Lolley (Suzy), Alexis Muster (Will), Destin Lolley, and Zach Robinson; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Dwayne Lolley; daughter, Glenda Robinson; parents, Thomas and Dora Lolley; and siblings, June Lolley (Beck), Clovis Lolley (Mozelle), and Velera Cagle (Wentford).
The visitation for Dewey will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, located at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, on December 27, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The committal service will be held at Pineridge Memorial Park, also at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, following the funeral service.
