Drewey “Bull” Edward Durham, age 83, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2019. Drewey was born January 22, 1936 in Huntsville, AL. A retiree of Cobb County, Mr. Durham enjoyed traveling, gardening and tinkering with things, especially his blue truck. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Barbara for 60 years. Drewey was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Drewey is survived by his wife Barbara Sue Durham, daughters Susan Steelman (Jody), Sheila Wood (Donald), Julie Davey (Greg), son Tommy Durham (Tina), sister Evelyn Overby, ten grandchildren (Joey, Chad, Cristina, Arianna, Kim, Sydney, Angela, Alyssa, Justin, Cassie), fifteen great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Drewey was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Maudie Durham, three sisters, Geneva Patterson, Ruby Cansler, Helen Chambers, three brothers, Wayne Durham, Nolan Durham and Charlie Durham.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Mountain View Park Cemetery, 410 Whitlock Ave., Marietta, GA.
