Edith Louise Clark, age 102, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. Edith was born March 16, 1918 to Elva Reaser Coberly and Art Bernard Coberly. Edith and Harry retired to Georgia in 1970 from New Jersey, She was a devoted wife to her husband Harry of 58 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Early in her life she was a beautician and owned her own shop. Edith enjoyed a very active life style including bowling, golfing, fishing, shelling and playing bridge on Wednesday afternoon at Pinetree Country Club, and also on Mondays. Edith enjoyed traveling all over the world with her husband in their motor coach. Edith was extremely talented. She made many of her clothes, stylish hats, draperies, curtains, and quilts. She crocheted skirts, sweaters, booties, table cloths, dish cloths, cross-stitching, and designed and made on her computer all of her Christmas, birthday, anniversary and any other special occasion cards for her friends and family. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her.
Edith is survived by daughters Glenna Maney and husband Paul, Gail Gotsch; brother Paul A. Coberly; grandsons Jim Killian, Jeff Killian and wife Tina, granddaughter Dawn Abbott and husband Jody, great grandson Aaron Killian, great granddaughters Kaelynn Abbott and Jena Killian.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Harry Donald Clark; parents Art Bernard Coberly and Elva Reaser Coberly; brother A. B. " Bernard" Coberly Jr. and son-in-law Walter Gotsch;
Memorial service will be held on March 16, 2023 at 11:00 in the chapel of Winkenhofer funeral home.
