Eddie Ortiz, 55, of New York, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015. Funeral service is Sunday, February 1, 1pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with entombment to follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
Eddie grew up in a small upstate New York town called Esopus where he enjoyed the first phase of his life living with his parents and brother. He had three phases of his life and the second phase entailed the years he spent in a group home in Kingston, NY where he was the Emperor. Eddie’s declining years were spent in Long Island, NY.
”He was a master of reading people. He was also an expert in joining the flow of the people around him. He knew how to party. Finally, I just wanted to add, Picky got it right when he told me, “Eddie is a gift from God.”
