Eileen was born May 25, 1944, in Wheaton Minnesota, to the late Rev. Raymond and Marie Albrecht. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family and her church. Eileen had a passion for reading and dedicated much of her time to this beloved hobby. Her commitment to her community was evident through her involvement with the American Women’s Business Association and as a devoted member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Rev. Raymond and Marie Albrecht as well as her sister Marge Rand. Eileen leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years Arnold “Gomer” Rose, daughter Kristina Downey (Chuck), sister Lois Cole (Tom), brother Paul Albrecht, granddaughter Melinda Marshall (Timothy), grandson Caden Downey, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Eileen in a special way, may make gifts in her memory to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Marietta Ga or the Arthritis Foundation.
A visitation for Eileen will occur on February 22, 2026 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church 2240 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA 30066 at 2:00 PM. A Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, taking place at the same location.
