Elizabeth was surrounded by loved ones and is survived by her five children , eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert B. Chaney. Funeral services will be held at Acworth United Methodist Church, 4340 Collins Circle, Acworth, GA 30101 at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 and will lie in state at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesday, March 1, 2015 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Parkway NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association in Elizabeth's memory.
