

Ellen "Tuttie" Golden, a beloved and cherished member of the community, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on March 14, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tuttie was a devoted and faithful individual who resided in Fairmount, Georgia.
Tuttie was known for her compassionate and selfless nature. She was an inspirational figure to many, always generous with her time and resources. Her love for crocheting, going to the casino, and playing bingo brought joy to her life, but it was her family that she loved most of all.
Tuttie is survived by her children: Wendy (Deron) Gilleland, Bryan (Donna) Golden, Lennette (Mike) Parker, Vickie (Lance) Thompson. Grandchildren: Brandon Gilleland, Devin Golden, Spencer Giles, Clay Golden, Rhenn Parker, Senna Giles, Brendy (Joe) Scarbrough, Destiny (Addam) North, Krisanna (Dustin) Heltsley, Lily (Kevin) Jones, Kelsey (Ashton) Strickland and Mallory Parker. Great grandchildren: Aubree Scarbrough, Aspen Tarrance, Grayson Strickland, Tucker Strickland and Maddox Strickland. She is also survived by her sister Sadie Tumlin (Fred) and several nieces and nephews who love her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Elden “Stearlin” Golden; son, Kim Golden; parents, Ernest Peppers and Fannie Lou Dean as well as 9 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, GA 30152, on December 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on December 19, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue on December 19, 2025, at 12:00 pm. The committal service will take place at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, also located at 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia, at 1:00 pm on the same day.
Tuttie's life was a testament to the power of love and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
