Mrs. Curtis Paris, that's how she liked to answer the phone. My husband Rich Jones loved that about her. Years after her husband passed, she still loved and honored him in using his name. I may have married into the family, but she called me daughter many times. I spent many days by her side, listening to story after story. It was a complete joy to get to care for her for as long as I did. Granny loved a good story. She was so full of life and humor, that she had to share it with the world. I've never met a more giving, encouraging, loving, or humorous person. The time I spent with Granny will always be treasured, and I will forever be greatful for the time and love she pored into my husband. She was more of a Mother to him, and considered him a son. Richie, she would call him. Oh, did she love her Richie. And she loved me for loving him. Our life is definitely a little emptier without her in it, but we know she's up in heaven now with a new body, dancing the streets of gold with the love of her life, Curtis Paris. We love you so much Granny, and hope that we make you proud every time you and Grandaddy stop to look down and check on us. Thank you so much for the love you gave to my family - we all miss you.

My wifeRuth was honored to serve as one of the CNA caregivers to Miss Eunice for the last year of her life. She would share with me how wonderful was her sense of humor and how she always made her laugh and made the best of all her cirumstances wether good or bad.

Although I was not related, I affectionately called her "Granny". She was a woman in love with God and people. She had a sharp mind and great sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed any time I got to spend with her. I will cherish the memories I have and can't wait to see her again. Heaven is blessed to have her!

A few weeks ago I spoke with my grandmother, Eunice Paris. She talked about how happy she was that her grandchildren were serving the Lord, and then said she knew my grandfather Curtis would be proud too if he were still alive, and how his father was a preacher and he would be proud, too. This morning, Eunice graduated to heaven, where she is catching up with my grandfather and her friends and family that got there first. She leaves behind a family that is making a difference in the lives of others, and is sharing the love of Christ. When asked about death, Oral Roberts one word response was "STUNNING!" This is the beginning of Stunning for her.

Wednesday morning my grandmother breathed her last breathe of this life and entered into the Gloryland. She was blessed with 90 years of life. I was blessed to have known her 40 of those years. I will never forget her and all the special times we had together. She taught me how to sew as she shared stories of living through the Great Depression and the resourcefulness she learned. She was always there to encourage and cheer me on through life's struggles. She was determined and full of life and refused to let life get her down. Fifteen years ago she became an amputee after an open heart surgery gone bad. She didn't let it hold her back. She continued to live and give and enjoy life. She raised three amazing daughters who blessed her with 10 grandchildren. Her grandchildren have blessed her with 19 great grandchildren, with number 20 on the way. Today I remember this wonderful woman who is so much a part of who I am today. I love you Granny.

Such a sweet and strong Christian woman.
She has touched many, many lives in ways
that only God could have planned.  I know
all the angels in Heaven greeted her with
joy!
