George Edward Farrelly

George Edward Farrelly, age 48, of Acworth, Ga, passed away on March 22, 2025. Born in Athens, Greece, George was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend. His warmth, kindness, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

George is survived by his wife, Danielle, his son Troy, and his daughter Quinn. He is also survived by his aunts, Bess Duncan of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Bonnie Moore of Anderson, Indiana, as well as his many cousins, in-laws, and friends.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine and Wyndell Farrelly of Anderson, Indiana.

Anyone who knew George knows he loved Disney vacations with his family, all sports, especially his beloved Texas Longhorns, and shopping at Costco. George also loved any poker game found in Vegas, especially Texas Hold-Em. Most importantly, George loved his family. He spent 20 years with his wonderful wife, Danielle, and 18 years married. They adopted two beautiful children, Troy, 13, and Quinn, 11. They loved traveling as a family and finding new adventures together. George and Danielle also greatly appreciated art and loved collecting pieces from the places they visited.

George’s legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed but never forgotten.

A private memorial service will be held in his memory. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in George's memory to his children Troy and Quinn to help support their future.
