Graham Parson Cole

Graham Cole, 86, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 12 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Bishop Keith Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.

Mr. Cole was a WWII Veteran having served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Although he was born and raised in Canada, he was a naturalized American citizen and fiercely proud of his country. Mr. Cole lived by his strong ethics of hard work, importance of honesty and honoring God. He was an extraordinary teacher and example to those who knew him. Prior to becoming owner/operator of Cole Cleaners, Mr. Cole was an Executive with Wright Manufacturing. He was a member of Milford Church of God and his Wife Marjorie preceded him in death.

Those who survive include his Son – Grant and wife Dani Cole of Marietta; Daughter – Elaine Cole and husband Steve Hyde of Marietta; Brother – James Steen of Ottawa, Canada; Sister – Elaine Steen of Ottawa, Canada; Grandchildren – Joshua Yarbrough, Jason Sandmann, Shane Cole, Chelsi Cole, Brittany Hyde, Nicole Hammond, and 4 Great Grandchildren.

The Family will receive Friends on Friday, January 27, from 6-9pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb, 1605 Roberta Drive, Marietta, GA 30008 or to the Parents With A Purpose, 888 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106.
