Helen Bailey Perkins, who is survived by her son Tommy Reid Perkins, Jr. and his wife Bronwyn, died June 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Reid Perkins, Sr.; parents Glenn & Bertie Bailey; two brothers Paul Glenn Bailey (Margie) and Robert Edward Bailey (Betty); sister Dorothy Kinard (Ben). Helen is also survived by several grand & great-grandchildren as well nieces and nephews.
Helen graduated from Chattanooga's Central High School and Edmondson School of Business. She was born in Chattanooga, TN and lived several years in Nashville. At the time of her death, Helen resided in Acworth, GA. She was a longtime member of Hixson UMC in Hixson, TN and had been attending Due West UMC the past few years.
Helen will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to Hixson UMC or Due West UMC.
