Herman Cecil Shiver, age 83 of Kennesaw, passed on Thursday July 7, 2011. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday July 10, 2011 at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. He was a Georgia native and enjoyed gardening and flowers. He was a graduate of Georgia State University and he was a CPA for over 30 years. He was a member of the American and Georgia Society of CPA’s. As an avid golfer he was a member of the Pine Tree Country Club in Kennesaw. He is survived by his wife Shirley Shiver; daughter Stacie and her husband Thomas Green; grandson Griffin Green; sister Helen Weakland of Doran, Georgia. The family will receive friends Sunday July 10, 2011 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. They have requested, in lieu of flowers, donations to be made in Herman’s honor to the American Heart Association.
