Janet Ganley

Janet was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary J. Schaefer of Pittsburgh. She was also the loving wife of Milton R. Ganley, and loving mother of Scott R. Ganley who both preceded her in death.

Janet enjoyed being a homemaker, wife, mom and grandmother to her grandchildren. She was also a great-grandmother to a darling little girl.  

Janet’s favorite hobby was her garden and her love of flowers. She was the founder of the Ridgewood Garden Club, always sharing her floral cuttings with her neighbors and friends.

Her other interests included baking, cooking, working puzzles and trading them with her friends so they could enjoy them, too.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Tom (Stephanie) Strickland, Milton R. Ganley, and Kristi Ganley. Surviving cousins, Janice, Audrey, David and Dan, all from Pittsburgh, Pa. where Janet grew up. Janet is also survived by many friends and all of her caring, special neighbors that loved her very much. Visitation will be on May 23, from 2-3 and chapel services to follow at 3:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home 2950 N. Cobb Parkway Kennesaw, GA 30152
