Mr. John Raymond Haynie, age 69 of Acworth, Georgia passed away Wednesday June 26, 2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 29, 2013 at 2 pm from the Summit Baptist Church in Acworth, Ga. Mr. John Haynie will be placed in-state from 1-2 pm Saturday June 29, 2013 at the Church. Burial will be at later date at Kyuka Baptist Church in Attalla, ALA. Mr. Haynie was a native of Boza, Ala., he was a US Navy veteran, he served as a councilman for the city of Kennesaw from 1992-1995, and then served as Mayor of Kennesaw from 1995-1999.

Sister, Janauee, Lewis, Gadsden, ALA.
Grandson, Cameron Hughes, Canton, GA.
