Mr. Scott is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marjorie; children Kelly (Jimmy) Head, Kevin (Tracy)Scott, Mike (Becky) Scott, and seven grandchildren: Katherine, Kevin Jr., Taylor, Kayla, Kyleigh, Chloe and Austin.
He graduated from Grove City College in Pennsylvania with a business degree. He then attended OCS in Rhode Island and upon graduation was commissioned in the U.S. Navy. In his early career he was an engineer in the auto industry. Later he changed careers and worked as a computer programmer at AT&T.
He enjoyed his second home on the beautiful gulf coast as well as boating and fishing along with many other hobbies.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 3pm on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A private service will follow. Condolences can be made at www.winkenhoferpineridgefuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cherokee County Humane Society.
