
John Senack was born June 26, 1938, Torrington, CONN and passed away July 4, 2025, in Canton, GA. John is survived by his wife; Edith Roberts Senack of Canton, GA. His Son, James Senack and wife Joy Avery, of Powder Springs, GA, Daughters, Judith Senack Gravino and husband Mark, Canton, GA, Janet Senack Fisher and husband Stephen Fisher, Cartersville, GA; Six Grandchildren; Kathryn Senack, Nicholas Gravino, Jeremiah Senack Benjamin Gravino, Mathew Senack, and Michael Fisher all of Georgia. John graduated from Torrington High School in Torrington, Connecticut class of 1956. In January of 1956, John joined the US Naval Reserve program and was recalled to active duty on January 8th, 1957. He remained on active duty until mid-December 1958 and then completed his duty requirements as standby until December 1961.
John attended and graduated from Ward School of Electronics, which became part of the University of Hartford. John continued taking selected classes and self-improvement courses with education as the target.
He and Edith spent twenty-eight years of retirement traveling the forty-eight contiguous states and the many sites of wonder this country has to offer. In 2008 and looking for something to do John authored his autobiography, God Comes Softly.
A Celebration of John’s life was held at Springs Church, where he and Edith are members.
