Joyce Glass

Joyce Glass, age 84, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. She was born in Cartersville, GA to the late Dallas Long Sr. and Annie Long. Joyce served God faithfully and attended Canaan Land Christian Center. She also was in a gospel singing group with her sisters when they were younger. Joyce enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was a great cook and loved to bake. Joyce was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Joyce is survived by her daughters; Peggy Wilson, Barbara Morris, and Rita Graves (Roger), her brother; Griffin Long, and sister; Martha Lowery, six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years; Harley Glass, her son in law; David Wilson, her brothers; Robert Long and Dallas Long Jr., her sisters; Lois Long, Evellyn Walker, and Nancy Long.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A second visitation will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The service will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The burial will occur Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, 4355 GA-92, Acworth, GA 30102.
