Juan Oró

At the age of forty-two Mr. Orò began a journey with his family from Argentina to the United States. As a husband and father the will to provide the best possible life for his family was one full of strength, bravery, and determination. After arriving in the United States Mr. Orò worked in a factory, then later he and his wife purchased a deli in New York; the majority of his career was spent as a Sales Representative for Montgomery Ward. Due to his remarkable work ethic after his retirement Mr. Orò took a part-time job working in the Deli at Kroger in Acworth, GA. Mr. Orò had a deep passion for Classical Music, some of his favorite artist were Placido Domingo and Joan Manuel Serrat. Mr. Orò had a great appreciation and love for Spain, Argentina, and Catalonia; he was very proud of his rich heritage. He was also a dog lover, especially his daughters’ dog LuLu. Mr. Orò was a wonderful and brave husband, father, and grandfather; he will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his parents Mr. Orò was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of forty years, Matilde Menxaka.

Mr. Orò is survived by his two daughters, Mercedes Orò Armas, husband, Miguel, of Acworth, GA., and Cecilia Orò-Schenk, husband Allen, of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, John Soto, Michelle Armas, Michael Armas, and Linette Armas Michael; and seven great-grandchildren, Regan Michael, Cassidy Michael, Payton Michael, Alia Najarian, Kelsey Trumble, Molly Trumble, and Madison Trumble

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from five thirty in the afternoon until seven thirty on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
