Judith Carol LaMarsh

Born in Alton, IL to Clovis and Connie Cover, Ms. LaMarsh worked several jobs. Some of the jobs she enjoyed were in pediatric care and as an Office Manager at The Florence Crittenton Home for Unwed Mothers in Chamblee, GA. Her favorite job was as a market research recruiter at Fieldwork Atlanta, where she worked until 2014. She was former President for the Preceptor Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and former President of Dekalb Gwinnett City Council. She had a talent for meeting people and loved to talk to everyone. She took many road trips, taking on the role of tour guide and driver. One of her most memorable trips was driving across Alaska with her friends. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed taking all ten of her grandchildren to Camp Grandma at her cabin North Georgia.

She is survived by:

2 Children - Vicki & Mike Matthews of Marietta, GA; Steve & Karen LaMarsh of Kennesaw, GA

Brother – Jerry and Jeanie Cover of Fieldon, IL

10 Grandchildren – Josh, Matt, Jason, Melissa, Mark, Jordon, Megan, Jacob, Jeremy, and Jennifer

6 Great Grandchildren – Ayden, Savannah, Sienna, Cayson, Hank, and Dean

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. David Lewis officiating. Internment at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 4:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
