Larry is survived by his wife of 26 years Debbie Cobb; sons Alan Cobb (Patty) and Steven Cobb (Marlo); daughters DeAnn Davidson, and Tiffany Cobb; brother Ernest Cobb, twin brother Barry Cobb, sisters Carole Granato, Irma Conley, Joan Barnett; stepson Mark Guinn (Mandy), stepdaughter Christina Chvatal (Ricky), 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Larry was preceded in death by father Ernest Cleveland Cobb and mother Nellie Mae “Janie” Cobb as well as his stepson Sammy Guinn.
Larry was a self-made man who believed in hard work and doing the job right. He master his trade as a Plumber in his early teen years and was running a crew by the age of 15. Larry began his own company, Cobb Plumbing, which he guided for 40 years. Of course Larry was available around the clock for his customers but he wasn't about all work and no play. He made time for his family and loved to fish, cook, and tend to his flowers. Larry was also a man of faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
A visitation for Larry will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will follow the visitation on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Pastor John Pennington officiating. Larry will be laid to rest at Pineridge Memorial Park.
