She was one of eight children born to Harold and Donna Haskins on June 30, 1952 in Moorisville, Vermont.
After high school, Lenora attended college where she trained in administration and human resources. She later met and married Paul F. Parker. The couple had two sons together: Chad and Keith. Her family later grew to include her 4 grandchildren: Elijah, Ethan, Madison, and Marissa. She was very loving and close with her family. Lenora also had a love for animals and cared for her cat, "Charlie," and enjoyed spending time with her granddog, "Bayleigh Ann."
Lenora was not only kind hearted, but she was a very talented woman. No matter what her focus was, she turned it into an art - she dabbled in hairdressing, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She was very creative with her arts and crafts and made many statement pieces from simple household items like coffee cans.
Her talents and compassion for others combined with her natural gift of organization made her profession at Ross Memorial a memorable one for both the staff as well as the countless residents whose lives she touched. Over her 14+ years there, she helped to improve the administrative tasks by designing new cataloging systems, spreadsheets, and caring for the residents.
Lenora was able to pass along her love to her children and grandchildren as well as teaching some of her many talents. Her memory will live on forever in their hearts and their memories.
Lenora Lee Haskins Parker is survived by her former husband, Paul F. Parker of Cartersville; sons, Chad Parker and his wife, Natasha, of Acworth and Keith Parker of Acworth; grandchildren, Elijah D.
