Maria Hetzel Claus, age 84 of Kennesaw passed on July 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held privately on Friday, August 02, 2013 at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Maria was a Nurse Aide for many years with individuals needing in home care. She was born in Germany and came to the US in the late 50’s, where she started her family in the Connecticut area. Maria is survived by her husband, Gerhard Claus; sons, Stan and wife Vickie Kukier, Jesse Kukier; sister, Gisela Trimarchi; lifetime friends, Marlene McKeon and Beth Cheney. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 01, 2013 from 4pm until 8pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
