Mary Kathryn Noneaker

Mary Kathryn Noneaker, age 90, of Acworth, GA passed from this life on March 23, 2025. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN to Wilburn and Olivia McLean Waters and was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. Mary met the love of her life Daniel O. Noneaker and they were married on October 16, 1953.

She was a faithful member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church for over 50 years where she taught Children’s Sunday School. Mary also worked with Boys and Girls Scouting while her son and daughter were children. She had a love of nature and a great tenderness toward animals, providing a home to many cats and dogs over the years and enjoying her yard with flowers, blossoming trees, birds, deer, and even wild turkey. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her immediate and extended family, and she took great joy in making her home (especially her screened back porch) a welcoming place for all visitors.

Honoring Mary’s memory are her beloved Husband of 71-1/2 years, Daniel O. Noneaker; Son, Daniel L. Noneaker (Donna); Daughter, Susan O. Blake (Gregory); and Brother, Ray Waters (Rosemary), as well as Five Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her treasured Brother; Charles (“Bud”) Waters.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Winkenhofer with Rev. David Huggins officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park.

The family wishes to express its special appreciation to those who have provided compassionate care to Mary in the last year-and-a-half of her life.
