Nell Williams Hartness, 86, of Kennesaw, died Friday, February 12, 2016. Funeral is Tuesday, February 16, 1pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Acworth with Mrs. Hartness lying in state at the Church beginning at 12pm. The family is receiving friends on Monday, February 15 from 6-9pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
Nell was a longtime member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and worked for many years out of her home as a Hair Dresser. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars Chapter 414 in Kennesaw. Those who preceded Mrs. Hartness in death are husbands – Al Williams and Albert Hartness, and her daughter – Teresa Williams Futral.
Survivors are daughters – Sandra and Douglas Pannell, Judy Millwood and Jordy Haynes, Michelle Corley and David Tribble; brothers – Sidney Phillips and Michael Phillips; sisters – Edna Beck and Marilyn Howard; grandchildren – Heather, Jill, Cody, Ashton, Haley, Jared, Janie, Michael, and Jason, along with 17 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hartness will be remembered by all who knew her as loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
