Nellie Pearl Carter Henderson, born August 23, 1926 to the late Walter H. and Bessie Culpepper Cater, passed peacefully late morning March 30, 2014. She joins her late husband, Woodrow Ralph Henderson, after her lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. She is survived by four generations, three children, William R. (& Judy) Henderson of Gray, GA, Bobby C. Henderson of Barnwell, SC, and Joetta (& Michael) Cummins of Arlington, TX, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
In celebration of her homecoming, visitation is April 3rd from 6-9pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, GA and funeral services will be at on Friday, April 4th at 2:00pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, Nell asks for donations to be made to the Glade Rd Baptist Sunday School building fund at 6570 Glade Rd, Acworth, GA 30102.
