Noah Nyamekye Kwarteng was born on September 18th, 2023, to John and Winnie Kwarteng. His birth was miraculous, and despite all the challenges, Noah’s fighting spirit and strength encouraged us all. His middle name, Nyamekye, which means "God’s gift," had a significant impact on his life and all his caretakers, as he was truly a gift. Named after his maternal grandmother, Noah truly exhibited the qualities and perseverance emulated by her. Though his life was short, he touched all who came in contact with him. Every day he lived, we witnessed him overcome some daring health challenges. The whole family was excited when our prayers were finally answered for Noah to be discharged and come home, finally, this past Monday. The celebration of his homecoming was cut short when Noah stepped into glory on Wednesday, in his car seat en route to his first doctor’s appointment outside the hospital. The news of his passing sent a wave of despair and sadness as this was not the expected end. We comfort ourselves knowing that he is present with his Savior, cheering us on with the heavenly host. Noah is survived by his siblings Josiah and Bethel, paternal grandmother Mrs. Esther Kwarteng, maternal grandparents Samuel & Francisca Boateng, aunties Freda, Samantha, Princess, and uncle Samuel Jnr, and cousins Anaiah, Isaiah, and Micaiah. He has a large number of family and friends who dearly love him and were there for him throughout his life. We thank God for the many lives that were touched from the time of Noah’s conception until his death. We know that the Lord will receive Noah amongst the heavenly host.
