Orris David Harper (Orch), 85, Waleska Georgia resident died Saturday October 15, 2016. A native of Chillicothe , Ohio. Mr. Harper was a graduate of Miami University, member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, member of Delta Sigma Pi, business honorary fraternity, and head drum major of Miami Marching Band. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Harper had a forty year career of sales and marketing, and retired from International Paper Company, Atlanta Georgia in 1996 as District Sales Manager. Orris is preceded in death by his wife; Francis Lee Harper and sister; Lois A. Bowers of Pundta Gorda, Florida; survivors include son, Randall H. Harper( Seon )of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Rebecca Ann Stoffer ( Dave) of Marietta, Georgia and granddaughters, Lauren Stoffer, Greer Harper and Delainy Harper; and sisters, Helen M Phillips of Chillicothe, Ohio and Barbara J. Young of Charleston, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your charity of choice. Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
