Pauline "Polly" Ernst

Pauline “Polly” Ernst, 85, died Monday, July 6, 2015. Funeral service Wednesday, July 8, at 2pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Pastor Perry Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm at the funeral home. Her husband Jerry Ernst preceded her in death.

Pauline lived in Miami for several years and loved the ocean, she and Jerrry would go boating where they could absorb all the beauty it provided. Their love for boating, and the ocean, was shared with many friends through the Miami Boat Club. Traveling was also a passion of Pauline’s, and her husband Jerry, both employed with Airlift International, he a pilot and her a flight attendant, they shared many of the world’s cities together. A faithful woman of the Lord, Mrs. Ernst attended Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth.

Mrs. Ernst is survived by her son – Jimmy and his wife Paulette Jenkins of Acworth, daughters – Linda Kimball and her fiance Larry Fortner of Douglasville, Elizabeth Bussiere and her fiance, John Lewis of Canton, brothers – Kenneth Hampton of New Orleans, LA and Boyd Hampton of Conyers. 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren also survive her.
